Author Biography

Dhanasekaran M, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Sri Vidya Mandir Arts and Science College, Katteri, Uthangarai, Krishnagiri.

He had completed both UG and PG degree in American College, Madurai. He got valuable ideas and thought during M.Sc project from Dr. G.C. Abraham (Vice Principal, American College). Then he joined Madura College for Ph.D Degree. He had started his career as Research fellow in the NIF (National Innovation Foundation) project under the supervision of Dr. S. Karuppusamy, Department of Botany, The Madura College, Madurai. During that period, he worked on collection of medicinal Plants (3 different districts), preservation and making herbarium. In NIF project, he made above 800 herbarium with his colleague.

Later he registered his Ph.D under the supervision of Dr. S. Karuppusamy, Department of Botany, The Madura College, Madurai. Successfully awarded Ph.D degree in 2017. He had five years of experience. He had cleared SET (State level Eligibility Test) in 2016. Recently he jointed as Assistant professor in department of Botany, Sri Vidya Mandir Arts and College, Uthangarai, Krishnagiri from 8th June 2017. He published 7 papers in National and International Reputed Journals. He worked as Organising Member and Editor in International Conference was held in Department of Botany, Sri Vidya Mandir Arts and College, Uthangarai, Krishnagiri. He had presented more than 20 research papers in National and International Conference/seminars/Symposium. He had participated more than 10 Workshops.
