Abstract

This chapter delves into the importance of evidence-based prenatal care in promoting the well-being of both mothers and their unborn babies. By aligning clinical practice with the latest research, it offers a comprehensive approach to prenatal care that is tailored to each woman's unique health needs and circumstances. The chapter highlights essential aspects of prenatal care, such as early health screenings, proper nutrition, and routine monitoring, all aimed at ensuring better pregnancy outcomes. It also explores strategies to minimize risks and prevent complications for both mother and baby. In addition, the role of healthcare providers in educating mothers and helping them make informed decisions is emphasized.
