CYBERCRIME, LAW AND GOVERNANCEIN INDIA
Abstract
The digital revolution has fundamentally transformed human society, ushering in an era of unprecedented connectivity, innovation, and economic growth. In India, this transformation, catalyzed by initiatives such as Digital India, has sought to empower citizens through increased access to technology and digital services. However, this rapid digitization has also created a fertile ground for cybercrime, posing significant challenges to law enforcement agencies, the legal system, and society as a whole. This book, "Cyber Crime Administration in India: Law, Enforcement, and Justice," aims to provide a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the multifaceted challenges of cybercrime in India and the strategies employed to combat it. It examines the legal frameworks, law enforcement mechanisms, and judicial processes that constitute India's cybercrime administration system, while also exploring the evolving nature of cyber threats, the impact of digitization, and the ethical and human rights dimensions of cyber governance.
